We are seeking a licensed psychologist to join our new Alabama Neurodevelopment Center, which will provide high-quality and efficient diagnostic assessments for autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and related conditions. This is a rare opportunity to build an innovative clinic from the ground up while working with a highly collaborative team that includes psychologists, psychometricians, and psychology interns.

Work Location: Crestwood Neighborhood, Birmingham, AL (with limited travel)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and other related conditions across the lifespan
- Supervise psychometricians and doctoral-level psychology interns
- Collaborate with families and referral sources to deliver comprehensive diagnostic reports and feedback
- Contribute to clinic growth through team leadership, program development, and outreach
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and consultation with community providers
- Support post-diagnostic care coordination and training for families and staff
Required Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
- Licensed or license-eligible as an Alabama Psychologist
- Experience with neurodevelopmental assessment, including autism and intellectual disability
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of post-license experience
- Experience supervising interns or early-career professionals
- Familiarity with the ADOS-2 and cognitive, adaptive, and academic assessments
- Commitment to culturally responsive assessment and family-centered practices
- Experience serving Medicaid-eligible or other underserved populations
